With over twenty years of experience creating extraordinary culinary masterpieces Sheron Chin has a simple philosophy, “One eats with their eyes before their first bite.”
As a graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC she decided to take her artistic & creative abilities to the restaurant world which translated into a fusion of delectable cuisines, not only in taste but also in presentation.
After owning several restaurants in NYC & also appearing on the Food Networks’ Throw Down with Bobby Flay, The Cooking Channel with G. Gavin. She decided to relocate to south Florida shifting focus on launching Standing Ovation Events & Catering, the total package.
Her specialties feature a healthy fusion of Caribbean, southern & Latin cuisines, with offerings such as her ultra-savory Pork Tenderloin stuffed with scented apricot churrasco & the “Soul Sushi” concept…including Collard green/ Sun dried tomatoes/ mango pick a‘ pepper drizzle, Jerk chicken sushi rolls with mango avocado.
Her list of clientele includes corporate & private entities such as; Broward colleges’ Baily Hall Performance Arts center; as exclusive caterer, Sunshine Health, Florida State Minority supplier development council, among others. Sheron is a recipient of the South Florida Minority Development Council 41st Gala Awards, ‘MBE supplier of the year.
